FiltCon 2023 Special Issue

The proceedings will be available for sale through the AFS website after the conference.   Separation & Purification Technology Journal will publish a FiltCon 2023 Special Issue later in 2023Presenters are also encouraged to submit manuscripts to be included in the conference proceedings and special issue.  Manuscripts may be submitted beginning May 1 and the deadline to submit is October 1, 2023. Registration

Registration will open in January. All presenting authors and moderators are required to register to confirm their attendance at the Conference.  Speakers and moderators receive a reduced conference registration fee. Abstracts and presentations will not be included in the technical program, program book, or conference proceedings if online registration has not been completed.

Student Posters

AFS FiltCon 2023 will feature a student poster competition on Tuesday, May 2.  Conference attendees will be able to access the posters throughout the conference from the virtual lobby.  The student poster presentation and competition will take place on Tuesday from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  All conference attendees are encouraged to participate in the poster presentations.  Awards for the best posters will be presented on Wednesday, May 3 at 8:15 am.

Student Poster Judging Criteria

Scoring of student posters will be conducted by at least three judges who are members of the AFS Society.  Posters will be judged in four areas:

(1)   The clarity and the support of the stated research OBJECTIVE;

(2)   The overall ORGANIZATION of the poster;

(3)   The clarity and thoroughness of the poster oral PRESENTATION;

(4)   The overall ORIGINALITY of the poster topic.
